I have wanted to start a blog for a while now; not so much for the reason that I want the world to know what I do with my life but more so because I’m looking forward to having an outlet to log what I do and think and maybe discover more about myself through that process. I was using a cheese grater while cooking a few nights ago and almost grated my knuckles in the process. I laughed a little to myself and thought “Hmm, almost added a little essence of Kate to the mix” and it hit me what a perfect name that would be for my blog – Essence of Kate. A couple days later this blog was born!
